Software Engineer
Surabaya (Jawa Timur)
Responsibilities:
An intellectually rewarding software development position with a software company in Surabaya with projects in the mobile and web applications space, with projected number of users in at least 100,000+ range that requires serious horizontal scalability strategies. You will be exposed to working on parts of our architecture that belongs to the category of peer-to-peer database based solution, hence the scalability. You will be learning alongside experienced founders who have worked in Silicon Valley USA, China, and Canada.
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
* Passion or very high interest for the software/IT field
* Smart (able to produce high quality work) and always get things done (produce that best work efficiently)
* Solid computer science background with mastery of data structure, algorithms. Mastery of OS and distributed systems are a plus.
* Proficient in at least one of major modern languages: Javascript, Java, C#, PHP, Python, C/C++, etc.
Bonus Qualifications:
* Experience in software development work
* Respect for software engineering: design, quality, testing, maintainability of code
* Intellectually curious: keeping up to date with latest technologies (languages, frameworks, products), personal projects, contribution to the open source
